HOW MUCH DOES REGISTRATION COST? 

Registration is $25 for participants who pre-register online prior to September 15th, 2017. Race day registration for walk-ins at the event is $30. 

IS THE PRICE DIFFERENT FOR RUNNERS AND WALKERS?

The registration fee is the same for both runners and walkers. 

what is included with my registration fee?

Your registration fee includes entry into the race, a swag bag filled with goodies from our sponsors and Team Fox, lots of snacks at the event, and a super fun morning spent racing and hanging out with our team! If you register prior to September 1st, 2017, your registration fee also guarantees you an exclusive Jim's Jog t-shirt. T-shirts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis to participants who register after September 1st. 

do you offer discounts for group registration?

We do offer group discounts! Families of 4+ hoping to register their entire family for the event can enter the code FAMILYFUN during online registration for a $5 discount on each registration. Groups of 10+ hoping to register together can contact our organizers at raceteam@jimsjog.com to get exclusive access to our group promo code. 

i can't run or walk in the event - how can i get involved?

We'd love to still see you on race day, even if you can't participate! You can visit our volunteer page to learn how to become part of our team or visit our sponsorship page to help offset some of the costs of the event and make it a successful fundraiser. 

how can my business get involved?  

We rely on our amazing sponsors to be able to host Jim's Jog each year, and we'd love to talk to you about getting your business involved, either through one of our levels of monetary sponsorship or by providing an in-kind prize donation. Please visit our sponsorship page for more information. 

DO RUNNERS AND WALKERS FOLLOW THE SAME COURSE?

Runners and walkers do follow the same certified 5K course. There is also a one-mile loop option for walkers who would prefer not to walk the full 5K. 

can i register on the day of the race? 

Of course! Walk-in registration will be available beginning at 9 am when packet pickup officially opens. 

CAN I BRING MY KIDS?

We'd love for you to bring your kids! Jim's Jog is a family event, and there is no minimum or maximum age requirement. We also allow runners to race with strollers. All children over the age of 4 must be registered individually for the event; younger children who will be in strollers can participate for free. 

CAN I BRING MY DOG? 

You are welcome to bring your dog; however, all dogs must stay on the leash at all times and it is your responsibility to clean up after your dog in the park. 

CAN I BRING MY RARE BRAZILIAN PYTHON? 

Unfortunately, at this time we cannot welcome exotic and dangerous animals to Jim's Jog. 

what should i bring with me?

Nothing but yourself and your running shoes! Food and drink will be available to you throughout the event. If you'd like, feel free to wear a touch of orange, the MJFF color. 

what happens if it's raining? 

Our team is hardy and so are our racers! In the event of inclement weather, the race will go on, unless severe weather alerts make it too dangerous for our runners to be out on the course. We will communicate with you via phone if this ends up being the case and the event will be rescheduled. 

WILL THERE BE FOOD AVAILABLE FOR FREE OR FOR PURCHASE? 

There will be plenty of free snacks and breakfast foods, so come hungry! 

WILL THERE BE PRIZES? 

There will be plenty of prizes! Medals will be awarded to top overall finishers and top finishers in each age/gender category. In addition, there will be a raffle for all sorts of great prizes donated by local businesses.

how much of my registration fee goes directly to team fox and mjff? 

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, we are fortunate to have been able to contribute 100% of all registration fees directly to Team Fox during our past three events. We anticipate doing the same during our 2017 event.
